Description

Graphenstone Ambient Primer L42 - Primer for Walls and Ceilings for use with Siena

Graphenstone Primer L42 is a mineral primer that incorporates graphene technology to enhance the durability of photocatalytic paints.

This clear primer helps achieve a consistent top coat colour and is recommended for smoothing repaired surfaces.

It maintains the substrate's breathability.

Before application, dilute this primer 1:1 with water and apply to various common construction surfaces such as mortar, brick, concrete, or old paints.

Attributes

  • Concentrate (dilute 1:1 with water)
  • Regulates the absorption of substrates and texture
  • Stabilises the photocatalytic paint system
  • Increases the durability of the painted surface
  • Very Low VOC, < 1 g/l
  • Does not alter the breathability of the substrate
  • Tough and Durable
  • Formaldehyde free

Drying time: Allow approximately 24 hours before applying top coat(s).
Approx coverage: 26-30m2 per Litre (primer is supplied as a concentrate - dilute 1:1 with water before applying)

Application Information

Mineral substrates must be at least 28 days old before application and should resist high alkalinity. When uncertain, test on a small area first.

Avoid applying to surfaces that are constantly in contact with water.

Primer application for Interior Walls

Refer to the Ambient Primer Technical Data Sheet for full details. Brief overview:

  • Ensure the substrate is dry, clean, and sound.
  • If there is algae, mould, fungi, or other impurities, clean thoroughly with an appropriate product. Lightly sand surfaces that have been previously painted to improve adhesion.
  • Dilute the product with water in a 1:1 ratio.
  • Mix thoroughly.
  • Apply a single, even coat. Avoid going over areas that are already drying.
